Geoparks pursue broad goals: economic development of the local community through the development of geotourism, explaining the value and authenticity of the earth and nature in everyone's mind, attracting public participation in the protection and preservation of geological heritage, and raising people's knowledge and awareness about earth sciences are among the strategic issues in the minds of the founders of the geoparks network. On the other hand; the increasing desire of tourists to be present in nature, which is due to the dominance of industrial and tiring life in today's crowded urban areas, reveals a valuable category called natural tourism.
